Orlando, FL -- (Sports Network) - Hedo Turkoglu scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds as the Orlando Magic downed the Milwaukee Bucks, 99-81. Trevor Ariza added 20 points off the bench for Orlando, which snapped a three- game losing streak. Dwight Howard finished with 10 points, nine boards and four blocked shots for the Magic, who won for the first time in their last three outings at home. Michael Redd scored 15 points but shot just 3-of-16 for Milwaukee, which has dropped two in a row after its three-game winning streak. Ruben Patterson added 14 points off the bench for the Bucks, who lost for the 13th time in their last 17 games.Final Score: Cleveland 91, Houston 85 Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) - Larry Hughes drained a key free throw to make it a two-possession game with nine seconds left, and Cleveland staved off a Tracy McGrady scoring spree to knock off the Houston Rockets, 91-85, at Quicken Loans Arena. Hughes scored 22 points with seven assists and six rebounds, while LeBron James led Cleveland with 32 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Cleveland has won two straight and three of four. McGrady scored 25 points, but made only 10-of-32 shots from the floor. Yao Ming returned from a fractured right tibia suffered on December 23rd against the Los Angeles Clippers, scoring 16 points with 11 rebounds. Shane Battier added 15 points for Houston, which has lost two straight and four of five.
Final Score: Miami 88, Atlanta 81 Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Eddie Jones donated a season-high 21 points and Shaquille O'Neal added 14 points and nine rebounds, as Miami downed Atlanta, 88-81, at AmericanAirlines Arena. Gary Payton added 11 points and James Posey compiled 10 points and five rebounds for Miami, which has won three straight and 11 of 14 overall in addition to winning its ninth straight at home. Anthony Johnson and Josh Smith totaled 16 points apiece, while Josh Childress added 14 points and eight rebounds in the loss, Atlanta's sixth straight and 10th in a row at Miami. Final Score: Golden State 111, Detroit 93 Auburn Hills, MI (Sports Network) - Jason Richardson scored a season-high 29 points on 9-of-17 shooting, as Golden State snapped an 11-game losing streak in Detroit with a 111-93 victory over the Pistons at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Al Harrington posted 16 points and 10 rebounds for Golden State, which also ended a six-game losing streak overall and a seven-game road slide. Baron Davis and Stephen Jackson each returned from injury and played well. Davis, who was sidelined for 13 games with a left knee injury that required surgery, had 15 points. Jackson missed the last four games with turf toe and had 14 points, seven assists and six rebounds. Monta Ellis netted 13 points, and Andris Biedrins added 12 points and 10 boards for the Warriors, who ended a five-game road 1-4. The team will return home to face Denver on Wednesday. Final Score: Utah 120, Charlotte 95 Salt Lake City, UT (Sports Network) - Mehmet Okur scored 32 points on 13- of-15 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds as the Utah Jazz routed the Charlotte Bobcats, 120-95, at EnergySolutions Arena. Matt Harpring added 19 and Gordan Giricek 15 for Utah, which has won four straight games. Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer scored 12 points apiece for the Jazz, who dominated the boards, outrebounding Charlotte 48-21. Gerald Wallace poured in 33 points for Charlotte, which has lost six games in a row. Raymond Felton added 12 points and Walter Herrmann donated 10 for the Bobcats, who lost for the first time in three games at Utah. Final Score: San Antonio 88, LA Clippers 74 Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Manu Ginobili led five players in double figures with 16 points along with eight rebounds as San Antonio downed the Los Angeles Clippers, 88-74, at Staples Center. Beno Udrih added 14 points, Brent Barry donated 11 points, and Jacque Vaughn and Michael Finley compiled 10 points apiece. The Spurs won their ninth straight without the services of Tony Parker, who missed the contest with a left hip flexor. Tim Duncan also only scored nine points on 4-of-9 shooting with 12 boards. Corey Maggette led the Clippers with 19 points and Elton Brand added 15 in defeat, the club's second in three games.
