GAP To Release Celebrity Portraits Book Benefiting AIDS

The GAP plans to release a book of celebrity portraits with proceeds benefiting the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa.

The book called "Individuals: Portraits from the Gap Collection" features celebrities who have posed for Gap advertisements, including Miles Davis, Salma Hayek, Scarlett Johansson, Madonna, Joni Mitchell, Alanis Morissette and Willie Nelson.

The book will be available in mid-October at all major book retailers and will said for $35.

All proceeds go to (RED), an initiative founded by U2's Bono and Bobby Shriver to get companies around the world involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa.

The book will be sold with six different cover images, including portraits of Kim Basinger, Dizzy Gillespie, Whoopi Goldberg, Willie Nelson, Sarah Jessica Parker and Will Kemp.
