MIAMI -- For the second time this week, a threat of violence has surfaced at a South Florida school.
The Story In Pictures: Police: Boy Posts Internet Hit ListA student at Southwood Middle School in southwest Miami-Dade County was arrested after being accused of posting a hit list online.
Southwood Middle is the same school where in February 2004, eighth-grader Jaime Gough was stabbed to death in a school bathroom. Felllow classmate Michael Hernandez is accused of the crime.

In this latest incident, students said a seventh-grade boy had a hit list with 20 names on it in his online profile.Students said the boy said he wanted to kill the other students with a cheese grater. Some took this as a joke, but others took it as a possible reference to a type of gun. The students said that some people on the list were upset and that one of them went to police."We moved immediately to suspend the student and take him out of the school and moved to have him expelled. We are proceeding with the expulsion and cooperating with the police, who are investigating," Joseph Garcia, of Miami-Dade Public Schools, said.Students describe the boy accused of writing the hit list as a gifted, intelligent seventh-grader who has been picked on in the past.School officials said they did not want to take the incident as a joke. A letter was sent home to parents.Earlier this week, a 4th-Grader at another South Florida school was suspended and arrested for having an alleged hit list at his school.
