ATLANTA -- A commercial airliner's engine malfunctioned during takeoff, and a passenger caught the incident on videotape.

It was a Delta Airlines jet traveling from Atlanta to Germany last month.The plane's engine experienced visible mechanical problems during takeoff. Bright flashes of light could be seen coming from the plane's wing.The pilot told passengers they had to turn around and make an emergency landing in Atlanta.That's when a woman on board took out her video camera and started taping.No serious injuries were reported.The airline arranged for passengers to meet with counselors upon landing.
