MIAMI -- The man who injured three corrections officers in a courtroom attack Tuesday is facing several charges for his actions.Four days after the deadly courthouse rampage in Atlanta, police said Alexis Infante injured three corrections officers in the courtroom of Judge Jose Rodriguez at the Metro Justice Building.

Police said Infante was in the courtroom with his attorney working on a plea agreement at about noon on Tuesday. Police said Infante did not like the plea and the judge got involved, saying that he could have another week to discuss it.Police said Infante then became irate and threw papers at the judge. Corrections officers tried to contain him and three of them, Raphael Rudeski, Cynthia Talbert and Orlando Bembry, were injured.The three officers were taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries. All three have been released.Infante is charged with two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer and one count of attempted escape. A judge set his bond at $17,500 Wednesday.
