BSO: Mother Of Man Being Pursued Hits Deputies With Car

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. -- The Broward Sheriff's Office said two deputies were sent to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a suspect's mother hit them with her car.At about 7:30 p.m., the BSO deputies were conducting a traffic stop when a man fled in his vehicle. The deputies caught up to him when he got stuck in traffic.The man resisted getting out of his vehicle on the 4000 block of West Atlantic Boulevard. Then, the man's mother showed up in another car and struck the two deputies with her vehicle.
Both deputies were transported to North Broward Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.The man and his mother were arrested.BSO Aggravated Felonies detectives were investigating the incident.
