Nothing short of perfection could be expected for the opening of such a lavish five-star resort and spa."We created a hotel that was the Ritz Carlton and the Four Seasons in one," Amy Birkenes said.The resort, which cost $3 million to build, is strictly for dogs.The dogs will have access to a wellness center, massages, turndown service and holistic feeding.When the canines aren't romping in the playroom or watching several flat-screen plasma televisions, they can relax in a luxury suite or schedule a first-class grooming session.They have a choice of the finest in couture fashion accessories, diamond-studded collars, leashes and more.Creators said that with Chateau Poochie, pet owners can enjoy their exclusive vacations knowing their furry loved ones are doing the same.A stay at Chateau Poochie costs between $45 to $175 per room. There are also rooms available for cats.
