MIAMI -- Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal is now at the center of a divorce from his wife of nearly five years.

According to documents filed in Miami court on Tuesday, the marriage between Shaq and Shaunie is irretrievably broken.

The couple has four children together and live in a nearly $20 million home on exclusive Star Island. They were married in Beverly Hills in 2002 while Shaq was playing for the Lakers. They have a confidential prenuptial agreement.

The Heat center makes $20 million a year and has three years left on a five-year contract worth $100 million.

According to court documents, Shaunie should be given primary custody of the children, while Shaq should get liberal visitation rights.

The O'Neals could not be reached for comment.
