MARGATE, Fla. -- On Aug. 7, NBC 6 reported that a Margate condo association had ordered a woman to get rid of her cat that she said she depended on for medical reasons.A lawyer at the state attorney general's office saw the story and issued a demand letter to the association."If Ethel Tark believes Max the cat is a 'medical service animal,' and a doctor agrees, then it's protected by law against 'no pet' rules," the attorney general said.
And so, Max the cat will be allowed to stay. Related Links:
