According to family members, it was not like Linda Renee Innocent to leave her children without letting anyone know where she was going. Her four children are ages 14, 10, 8 and 2.

The woman's younger sisters said they can't help but fear the worst.

"You watch it on T.V. and you would never imagine something like this happening to your family," sister Duana Cherenfant said.

Her other sister said her disappearance was very uncharacteristic of her. She said Innocent is a very responsible person.

"We don't believe that she left on her own will," she said. "She's somewhere where she probably doesn't want to be. Linda has never done anything like this. If she's traveling or going out of town, it's with her kids."

The 34-year-old woman was last seen at a home on the 2000 block of Southwest 42nd Avenue in unincorporated Broward County.

According to the Broward County Sheriff's Office Missing Person's Unit, she had just finished her shift as a hospice nurse at the private home and was on her way to her Sunrise apartment to meet her boyfriend for dinner shortly after 8 p.m.

"She left work, she was supposed to go on a dinner date and she never made it home," Hugh Graf of the Broward County Sheriff's Office said.

A missing person's report indicated that Innocent had a restraining order against one of her ex-boyfriends, who is also the father of two of her children. But BSO has not said whether the ex-boyfriend or foul play had anything to do with her disappearance.

The ordeal took a toll on the entire family. An ambulance took Innocent's mother to the hospital when she was overcome with stress.

"If someone saw something, say something at this point because we want to hear from them, we want to hear something," Innocent's sister said.

Investigators said she was last seen wearing a yellow scrub top and beige scrub pants. She was driving a black 2005 four-door Audi A-4 with Florida license plate number X61-9JM.

Authorities said they are looking into all possible scenarios, including foul play, accident or runaway.

Anyone with information on this case should call the Broward County Sheriff's Office Missing Person's Unit at 954-321-4240.
