PHOENIX -- A large Arizona dust storm caused visibility to drop near zero in some places on Monday.
The storm had winds gusting up to 50 mph as it churned toward the cities of Chandler, Gilbert and Phoenix.Temperatures in the area fell 18 degrees in one hour -- from 109 degrees to 91 degrees.Officials said the dust reduced visibility so much that people were not able to see in front of themselves. No accidents were reported as a result of the storm, authorities said.
