KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan -- A Taiwanese zoo worker had to have his forearm reattached this week after a crocodile he was treating bit it off.
The 440-pound Nile crocodile had been hit with tranquilizer darts so the veterinarian could medicate it.However, the animal apparently wasn't fully under, and it snapped the man's forearm off.Another zoo worker shot the crocodile twice to get it to let go of the arm.The arm was then rushed to a local hospital, where it was reattached to the owner in a seven-hour operation.Zoo officials said the crocodile will be OK.
