'Star Wars' Costumes Up For Auction
'Star Wars,' 'Supergirl,' Bond Costumes Sold Off

LONDON -- Authentic movie costumes, including the cloak worn by Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original "Star Wars," were put up for auction in London on Tuesday.
According to Bonhams auction house, it was the largest costume auction in Europe.The Kenobi cloak, worn in the 1977 movie by Sir Alec Guinness, is worth about $96,000 to $115,000, auctioneers said.Another costume up for auction was the Imperial commander uniform from "Star Wars."Also being auctioned was Helen Slater's "Supergirl" outfit.Some James Bond costumes also were being sold, including a belted brown leather jacket worn by Pierce Brosnan in "Tomorrow Never Dies."Also up for auction were original Batman and Robin costumes and clothes worn in "Four Weddings And A Funeral."
