MIRAMAR, Fla. -- A new Web-based program can help families determine if they have a genetic risk and should seek out testing for colon cancer.Colon cancer is a common and often fatal form of cancer, but if it is caught early, those who suffer from it can survive.The new program asks about personal and family health history, and users' scores tell them if they should consider getting blood tests to confirm genetic risk.
