South Beach Pet Store Sues Mickey Rourke For Defamation
POSTED: 8:38 am EDT March 12,

MIAMI -- A South Beach pet store is suing actor Mickey Rourke for defamation, claiming he made false public statements about the business.
Rourke organized a protest in front of Hot Dog Puppies in January. He said he bought a puppy from the store, but it died soon afterward.
The storeowners said they refunded Rourke's money and paid all of the puppy's veterinarian bills without ever seeing an actual bill from Rourke.
