She's an actress, singer, wife and just plain diva. But Jennifer Lopez is also a fashion icon.

Always one to titillate her fans and the waiting press with her couture gowns, J.Lo's appearance at the Golden Globes on Jan. 15 was no exception.

"I just went for my own pleasure and what my husband likes," J. Lo told NBC 6's Jackie Nespral during an interview at the Mandarin Oriental in Miami. "Of course I'm aware people will see it. As long as I feel good in it, that' s the most important thing."

Lopez also brought that fashion sense to what has been touted as the wedding of the decade in Italy -- Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

"It was a great celebration of their love," she said. "It was good. It was beautiful."

Top Hollywood brass attended the wedding, including J.Lo's and Anthony and Lopez's close friend Leah Remini who, along with Cruise, is a Scientologist.

When asked about what she thought about the negative perception some people have about Scientology, Lopez replied, "I, myself, am Catholic. But it's just sad that people would look at it (Scientology) in that way."

J.Lo also has a personal connection to the Church of Scientology.

"My dad has been a Scientologist for 20 years," she said. "It's weird people want to paint it in a negative way."

In Part II of her interview with NBC 6, Lopez reveals why her marriage is the real thing, why she loves Miami and what she's doing for the Super Bowl.
